Red Devil Racing, letter of appreciation

We brought young LaSelle Carr down to the South Island for the NZ Superbike Nationals after Peter Jones was kind enough to offer him the opportunity to compete.
LaSelle has only every raced Classic Motorcycles so this was a great experience for him.

Over the three weeks we were there the Club and Peter Jones in particular were extremely good in making sure LaSelle was okay and did he need anything.

As we were tied up with our own team it was good to observe Peter checking on LaSelle everyday and throughout the day also. I also observed him with another young Auckland rider and the same could be said.

The club ladies came over to check that both LaSelle and his dad had food and were okay.

So as and out sider looking in I would like to say the club and it's members deserve a pat on the back for the way they looked after these riders from out of town. Great effort guys.

From our point of view the whole Nationals was a success and loved the extra effort gone into promoting the event. The food stalls were a hit, much better than plain old hot dogs and chips.

Also having the prizegiving at the track at Timaru was brilliant. The riders were all able to hear, sit back and relax. Much better than a rowdy pub. Having people sitting down like that allows for respect towards the riders that were successful and wanted to thank their sponsors and the clubs. It also allowed the usual cat calls. har har!!!!

Mick you ran the show brillantly and your group of volunteers were fantastic. Keep this up.

Thanks Rosanna Cole Red Devil Racing Team
