Motorcycling Canterbury Inc Presents the Sportzone Suzuki Advanced Rider Training Day Saturday 13 February 2010 Ruapuna Raceway Gates open 7:00am

** All riders will need to have a back protector **

Over time the Motorcycling Canterbury Club has found a need to introduce new riders to the sport by holding "Advanced Rider Training Days ". These days give the street rider the opportunity to experience the racetrack environment, which permits the freedom of speed only limited by the ability of the rider and a willingness to try something exciting. You DO NEED a motorcycle that is in good general and safe condition.
We can show you correct cornering techniques, that will allow you to ride faster and safer, so you can get the most out of your motorcycle in the place where it is the safest place to do so, THE RACE TRACK!.
From this experience many have joined our club and competed in our events. Some have gone on to compete in NZ nationals and overseas events, like World Grand Prix. If this sounds like you, check out the preparation details and we will see you there.

Format:
"A" Class: For experienced sports riders and aspiring club riders Passing allowed anywhere.
"B" Class: For intermediate sports riders out for some fun. Passing on outside of corners and straights only.
"C" Class: For riders who just want to circulate at their own pace. Passing on main straight only.
ā€œDā€ Class: For junior Streetstock and bucket riders only

Riders will be coached and supervised in groups of 12-15. Experienced Club Members will control and ride with you on the track. Please listen carefully to your Team Leaders they are there to help you. Any riders who ride recklessly and put others at risk will be asked to leave the Training Day. Respect your fellow riders and remember your competitor is The Track not the guy in front of you. Crashing at a Training Day is VERY BAD FORM ! please be patient and relaxed , you will get plenty of track time.
